A PLAN OF A JOURNEY

Day 01: Pathankot – Dharamshala (87 Kms/ 2 Hrs):- Arrive Pathankot Railway Station, meet our start representative & start your exotic trip to Dharamshala. Reach Dharamshala within 3 hrs and check into the hotel. In evening visit Local Market & Kotwai Bazaar, overnight stay at hotel.

Dharamshala has everything for a perfect holiday. It features tranquil Waterfalls, Out-stretched Tea gardens, and cricket stadium for sports lovers, holiness due to Dalai Lama’s presence, calm and peaceful environment.

Day 02: Dharamshala – Local Sightseeing: – After fresh up proceed to cover Mcleodgunj  and  Tsuglagkhang complex. It is the official residence of 14^th Dalai Lama which also hosts Namgyal Gompa, Tibet museum, Mcleodgunj  library, cafe and a souvenir shop. Other interesting places to cover in Dharamshala will be Bhagsu Nag Temple & Waterfall, St. John Church, War Memorial, Cricket Stadium and local market. Overnight stay will be at Hotel.

Day 03:   Dharamshala – Dalhousie (120 Kms/5-6 Hrs):- Enjoy your morning meal, check out from the hotel and drive to Dalhousie. The place is also famous with the name of “Mini Switzerland of India” due to its similar landscapes to that of Switzerland. Arrive & transfer to Dalhousie hotel. Rest of the day will be free to explore the local Market. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 04:   Khajjiar + Dalhousie Local: – Today after heartily breakfast cover Khajjiar sightseeing. Khajjiar is a place where one can easily spend whole day by admiring the beauty of sparkling Khajjiar Lake and lush greenery surrounding it. Later hit the roads to Dalhousie. On the way back, we will take a halt at Panchpula Waterfall and churches of St. John’s. Other interesting places to cover nearby Dalhousie will be churches St. Francis & St. Patricks, Subhash Chowk and Tibetan Market.  Overnight stay will be at hotel.

WINTER NOTE:  In Winters Due to Snow fall Khajjiar Sightseeing will Be Subject to Road Conditions and as per Govt Rules  & If Possible through Chamba it will be Extra Chargeable on the spot.

Day 5:   Dalhousie – Amritsar (200 Kms/6-7 Hrs):- Today after heartily breakfast  proceed towards Amritsar. It will take approx. 6-7 Hrs to reach you at Amritsar, Check into the hotel and enjoy your overnight stay with Dinner.

Amritsar is amongst the most revered sites of the world. It was founded as recently as the 16th century. Its name is a derivative of the Amrit Sarovar (pool of nectar) amidst which stands the Golden Temple, the most sacred of Sikh shrines.

Day 6:   Amritsar – Local Sightseeing: – Amritsar is an ideal city to experience spirituality and patriotism at its best. Our Amritsar sightseeing will start off from Golden temple which is one of the holiest Sikh Gurudwaras in India. Next place to cover will be Jallianwala Bagh where tragic massacre led by general dyer took place. Other interesting sites to cover will be Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum & ISKON Temple. At Attari border (Waga Border), feel the passion for unity and patriotism rising. This is a place where you can see security forces of India and Pakistan lowering their flags in respect to each other. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 7:  Amritsar Drop: – After breakfast Check out From the hotel and drive  Amritsar railway station/airport to catch on wards train/flight & back to home with sweet memories. Tour ends… but sweet memories always remain.
